General description
Hair implantation is a surgical procedure to transfer hair from one side of the head to the other. Even though this procedure is painful and costly, the results are generally permanent.

Technical description
Procedure – To perform this type of plastic surgery, it is necessary to locate the "donating area." This area has the shape of a horseshoe and is located at the back of the head. There we find follicles that last a lifetime and that most men have in good quantities, even those who are almost bald.

Hair implantation, generally performed in men, allows the surgeon to take hair follicles and place them where hair is thinning, or where there is no hair, both in the front or upper side of the head.
Hospitalization – Hair implantation is an ambulatory procedure.
